In the beginning of October, fall colors had just begun to touch Great Smoky Mountains National Park in North Carolina and Tennessee. Each view was more beautiful in the last, cool weather allowing a long viewshed.

One World, Two Feet 
You’re so lucky to have seen it in the sunshine. I was there 2 years ago and it was overcast almost the whole time. Still amazing though. Gorgeous pics.
