Scene from the Navajo Loop Trail

This photograph was taken along the Navajo Loop Trail in Bryce Canyon National Park in March 2016. Bryce Canyon is filled with these interesting geological features called hoodoos. The Paiute Indians believed that these tall skinny spires of rock were “Legend People” whom the trickster coyote turned to stone. From the rim of the canyon you can look down at hundreds of these amazing hoodoos; however looking up at them from within the canyon was even more awe-inspiring.
