I’ve spent a lot of time around tropical mountains, and for some reason I always love to watch the mountains catch the clouds which provides water and rain for the hundreds of plant and animal species on their slopes. I took this particular photo after a day of surfing in Hawai’i.
Ryan is currently a graduate student pursuing his PhD at Duke University in the field of ecology with a concentration in conservation. He has visited every continent other than Antarctica, and has participated in conservation projects across four different continents.
