In July I went to San Diego to visit a friend. We went for a fun hike in Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve where you get amazing views of unique geological formations surrounded by miles of coastline.
Torrey Pines Reserve is characterized by the rarest pine tree in North America, the Torrey Pine.
These pines are sculpted by to the constant ocean winds as they grow and therefore have an interesting appearance. If you hike down to the Torrey Pines State Beach you can walk along the hundred foot tall cliffs by the beautiful Pacific Ocean.
I love hiking at Torrey Pines!
