After finishing the first leg of our northeast road trip, Jessie, Kathryn, and I got to experience this view of the Canadian side of Niagara Falls. Formed by receding glaciers, the three sets of falls that make up Niagara Falls – Horseshoe Falls (on the far right in this photo, on the Canadian side), the American Falls (far left), and the Bridal Veil Falls (to the right of the American falls but hard to discern here) – have the highest combined water flow rate of any falls in the world, which is pretty amazing! After snapping a few photos and stretching our legs, we headed to Toronto, Montreal, Burlington Vermont, and Acadia National Park in Maine (our keynote destination).
