No matter how many times I return to Dry Tortugas National Park, I am always struck by the simple yet beautiful surroundings of the Florida Keys. It is one of the main reasons I cherish my trips to the islands as part of my PhD research.
Ryan is currently a graduate student pursuing his PhD at Duke University in the field of ecology with a concentration in conservation. He has visited every continent other than Antarctica, and has participated in conservation projects across four different continents.
