After waking up at an ungodly hour, my friends Jessie, Kathryn and I drove to the top of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park to be some of the first to see the sunrise in the United States. We were so lucky to have such an incredible view with the clouds – they helped filter the sunlight to get the amazing colors in this photo, which has not been edited! We ended up at Acadia after roadtripping from Washington DC to Niagara Falls, Toronto, Montreal, and Burlington, Vermont. Taken August 13, 2014.
