London is a big, busy city and I relish the times when I get to escape the madness. Last weekend, I visited a friend who lives outside the city and we went on a hike with her two dogs. It poured – of course – and my running shoes will never be the same again, but I loved every minute of it.

Having said this, I have to admit it is a fantastic city that continues to impress me even after years of living here. There are so many things to experience and plenty of moments when I could see myself staying here forever. This year alone, there have already been multiple light festivals, photography exhibits, and graffiti jams in secret tunnels…. I can’t wait to see what the summer brings.
