Author: Becky Lee

The daughter of a nature lover and a travel agent, Becky has spent the better part of 25 years beaching, camping, touring, teaching, and taking photos all over the world. After studying English and Psychology at Cornell University, she worked in media research in New York, LA, and San Francisco and is currently teaching English in Florianópolis, Brazil through the Fulbright U.S. Student Program. Becky is a firm believer in finding adventure in your own backyard and hopes to inspire and empower others to seek out moments of awe on a regular basis. In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, coming-of-age stories and taking candid/creepy pictures of couples for her blog, Looking for Love.

São Paulo’s Cityscape

February 4, 2016February 4, 2016 Becky Lee

São Paulo is a dramatically sprawling and dense metropolitan. From the top of the Edifício Itália, I got a glimpse of just how far the city’s edges reach. Continue reading São Paulo’s Cityscape

Ciudad Cultural Konex, Argentina

January 8, 2016January 8, 2016 Becky Lee

A slice of Brooklyn in BA, Ciudad Cultural Konex is a mix between a warehouse, event space, and outdoor bar.  I went for a drum show called La Bomba with 10+ drummers and musicians on stage at the same time. … Continue reading Ciudad Cultural Konex, Argentina

The Edgartown Lighthouse in Martha’s Vineyard is as tranquil and picturesque as it looks. A stroll through the quaint, bustling town leads you right to the water’s edge and the lighthouse. You can climb a few flights of stairs for … Continue reading Edgartown Lighthouse in Martha’s Vineyard

Brazil’s São Paulo

November 13, 2015November 13, 2015 Becky Lee

As the business and commercial center of Brazil, a lot of people say that São Paulo is kind of meh compared to the natural beauty of Rio or the rich culture of Salvador, but the city really grew on me … Continue reading Brazil’s São Paulo

A few friends and I rented a convertible through Relay Rides and took a short drive south of San Francisco to Half Moon Bay, a small shore town and surfer’s paradise. Highly recommended as a day trip and easy escape … Continue reading A Convertible to Half Moon Bay

Brazil’s Canyon Itaimbezinho

October 18, 2015November 4, 2015 Becky Lee

Not the typical Brazilian beach landscape, Canyon Itaimbezinho is located in the Serra Catarinense, a mountain range located between the southern Brazilian states of Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul. Even though the skies were a little bit cloudy, we … Continue reading Brazil’s Canyon Itaimbezinho
